Rewind through history then fast forward to the future with TDK Life on Record in London's Covent Garden

TDK Life on Record is inviting the public to playback their memories of music and video and look forward to the future at the TDK Life on Record Trailer, an engaging gallery of technologies that have shaped our past and will define our future. The TDK Life on Record Trailer will be in London’s Covent Garden from 5 – 16 September (10:00h - 22:00h), as part of its 12 month European tour.

TDK Life on Record Trailer has captured media history and is offering a glimpse of the future in a trailer that consists of four gallery sections devoted to technology and media that has revolutionised home entertainment. Each room is reminiscent of a different decade, starting with the 70’s leading up to nougthies which has brought us to the beginning of the Blu-ray and high-definition era.

Today’s youth will marvel at how far technology has come, while their parents reminisce about taping God Save the Queen by the Sex Pistols from the Top 40 in the 70’s room and look back in anger at the memory of recording Maradona knock England out of the World Cup in the 80’s room. The TDK Life on Record Trailer invites visitors to embark on a journey through time that will then fast forward them into the future of high-definition and the digital era.
